I love walking shady trails with my hair in pigtails
Sunshine drying my painted toenails
Picking wild flowers from a sidewalk crack
On my way back home I stop to pet a gray cat
Wash my dirty dishes in a pan on my porch
Take a nap in my car where it’s nice and warm cuz

I wear old pajamas with my mismatched socks
Gonna write some tunes on my heavy duty laptop
Getting pulled away, start to shop on-line
Adding stuff to my cart, goods I know I won’t buy cuz

I love munching chips and salsa with a chunk of sharp cheese
Watching Disney shows on my niece’s TV
Cuz my day is almost over it’s 3 AM
